London Mayor Sadiq Khan is calling the incident in Finsbury Park early Monday morning a "horrific terrorist attack on innocent people" during the holy month of Ramadan.

One person died and several more were injured after a man drove into a crowd of pedestrians near the Finsbury Park Mosque, where late prayers had just finished up; the suspect, a 48-year-old man, has been arrested. British Prime Minister Theresa May said police confirmed the incident is being treated as a potential terrorist attack, but Khan spoke in starker terms.
