There isn't much to say about the U.S. Women's National Team's first game in the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup — the score speaks for itself.

The U.S. obliterated Thailand, stampeding to a 13-0 victory, which is the largest margin of victory ever in a World Cup, women's or men's. The team's star forward, Alex Morgan, had a decent day at work, chipping in five goals, which has put her in the early lead for the tournament's Golden Boot. For reference, the co-winners of the Golden Boot in the 2015 World Cup, one of whom was Morgan's teammate Carli Lloyd, scored six goals in total over the course of the entire tournament.
