The verdict on Kanye West's White House visit is in from President Trump's favorite morning show.
The hosts of Fox & Friends Friday morning made clear they loved the rapper's Thursday Oval Office meeting with Trump, during which he went on an extended rant covering everything from manufacturing jobs and prison reform to how his Make America Great Again hat gives him power. The president mostly sat in silence while West talked.
"He's got some interesting ideas," host Steve Doocy said on Fox. Specifically, he liked West's proposal to abandon Air Force One in favor of a hydrogen-powered "iPlane 1." Ainsley Earhardt said West had some "valuable lessons," citing his statement that Hillary Clinton didn't appeal to him and praising him for being brave as a Hollywood Trump supporter, per Mediaite. During the segment, a graphic reading "Dragon Energy Unleashed" was put up on the screen.
The hosts went on to make fun of the rest of the media for having a "meltdown" in response to West's visit. Fox's Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson also praised West, with Hannity saying he was "impressed" and Carlson saying West "said some genuinely interesting things."
